Pay & Play
Terms & Conditions
In order for everyone to get the most out of the court times available and our facilities when players book a court they have explicitly agreed to abide by the following terms and conditions:-
The Island Padel facility is used at your own risk. Please note that Island Padel have put in significant mitigation measures to stop players being struck by a golf ball from the neighbouring golf course but there is still a possibility of this occurring. Island Padel do not provide supervision and cannot accept responsibility for any injuries from the use of the facility
Court Booking
Courts can be booked on-line by visiting www.Islandpadel.com
From 9th June 2025 courts may be booked 4 weeks in advance
Advance bookings will be open on-line from 7:30 am
Court Cancellations
From 9th June 2025 courts may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the court booking start time
You will be offered a re-booking slot
Bookings may only be moved on one occasion under ordinary circumstances
Credits will be issued if other playing slots are not available
If players can’t use courts within 72 hours of booked times, please inform us as a courtesy. A credit or a re-booking is not available in this situation
Late Arrival / No Show
If courts appear to have no shows after 15 minutes of start times Island Padel has the right to offer the court to anyone turning up to play
This will only be allowed on the basis that if people do turn up very late for their booking the people using the court will need to vacate the court
If this happens, please respect the players who are on court and explain
Bad Weather
If wet weather at the facility prevents play please inform us by emailing us at bookings@islandpadel.com, re-bookings will be available for up to one week in advance. Please note it is best to email bookings@islandpadel.com to check if its due to rain at the facility as in many cases it will be raining in other parts of the Island but not at the facility
Court Usage
As courts are currently limited, we want to give as many people a chance to play as possible so:-
Please start and finish your games on time, it is unfair to keep people waiting with courts being so busy even if you are close to the end of your match
We request players book no more than 2 hours in any one day
Where larger groups play regularly it will be acceptable for the same two hours to be booked for both courts
If you have bookings exceeding these requests, please contact us in advance on bookings@islandpadel.com so we may try and help
Please try to book without leaving empty half an hour slots between bookings where possible
Please wear only padel or clay court tennis shoes when playing padel
Empty Courts
Please don’t play on un-booked courts without paying for them
Just because courts are not booked it doesn’t mean facilities are available for free
If courts are empty for 5-10 minutes before a game an early start or warm up will not be considered unreasonable
Padel Rules
Please play within the rules of padel, if you have any questions regarding the rules please speak to the on-duty staff member at the "Padel Pad" cafe on the premises
Respect For The Facilities
Please respect our facilities in every way, the more we all look after the facilities the more we can all enjoy them
Please remove any litter when you leave including used ball containers and lids, food or drink containers or general rubbish. If you find anyone else's litter please help by taking it and putting it in a bin
Please try to take all of your belongings home including equipment, clothing etc
If you notice any damage or issues with the courts, nets playing surfaces etc please make the on-duty staff member at the "Padel Pad" cafe aware so that we can rectify things
Please note padel equipment hire, snacks and refreshments are available at the "Padel Pad" cafe on the premises
Respect For Everyone
Island Padel Users
Please conduct all play and interaction with users of the padel courts with respect and consideration
Island Padel considers any improper behaviour such as excessive shouting, foul language or aggressive behaviour to be unacceptable
Island Padel reserves the right to restrict access to courts or request players to leave the facility in the event of any unacceptable behaviour, which includes trying to play on unbooked courts
Please be mindful of golfers when entering or exiting the courts from the golf course entrance to the facility as they may not be able to see you when playing from a distance away.
CCTV will be in operation to provide necessary security coverage for the facility and to allow Island Padel oversite of the terms and conditions outlined above
